The Polar Express

My Dad bought tickets for all of us to go on the Polar Express this year. If you haven't taken your kids yet, I highly recommend it! My kids LOVE the movie. They watch it all year long!! They had a blast. Santa and Mrs. Clause comes around and visits each kids. Ayden is usually pretty shy when it comes to Santa...well, not so much this year! He gave Santa his WHOLE wish list. Santa kept trying to walk away and Ayden grabbed his sleeve and said "Oh, and one more thing.."haha It was so funny! Austyn had a hard time remembering what he wanted when Santa talked to him. But he managed to squeak out that he wanted a four-wheeler! We saw Santa 3 different times that trip. Park City, Polar Express, and our hotel! Yes, Santa stays at the La Quinta in Provo, just in case you were wondering! My kids want EvErYtHiNg they see for Christmas this year!! It must be the age. They are starting to pay attention to commercials and after every one that comes on they say "I want that for Christmas!!" I mean every commercial, even the Barbie ones!! And no...they aren't getting everything on their 'list'!! Thanks mom and dad for such a fun weekend!!

Halloween 2009

The boys had a blast this year! This was the first year that they BOTH wanted to wear their costume and they even kept them on all night! They got the hang of trick or treating rather fast! Ring door bell, hold out bucket, and get candy. We missed the whole "say trick or treat" step. They were to shy to speak to the people!!haha We only went to a few houses, mostly family. After they had been in and out of their car seat 7 or so times, they called it quits! That was fine with me though, they had enough candy by then!

Where did October go???

I cant believe that October is almost gone. It is my favorite time of year, I LOVE fall. I love the beautiful colors, I love the crisp air and I love that I can break out my sweaters!haha But fall seemed extremely short this year. We got our first snow today. Nothing much, didn't even stick, but I hate when it turns winter in October. Welcome to Utah hu!?! We have had a busy month. I guess that's why it slipped by so fast. I have been busy all month making these:

We took the boys over to the Bluebell corn maze. This was our first year and I was pleasantly surprised! It would have been a million times better if the wind wasnt blowing a 100mph! The kids had a BLAST even though it was cold and I forgot all of our coats! We didn't end up even going through the corn maze, we just let the kids play on all the tractors and slides and stuff! The combine and tractors were a huge hit with the boys, imagine that! They had so much fun and we will for sure be going back next year!

AyDeNs first day of PrE-ScHoOl

It was Aydens first day at pre-school and he did so good! He was so excited from the moment he woke up. Austyn was a little worried about Ayden leaving him behind, but I had no idea it would be so sad for him! We walked Ayden to school and Austyn was the one who had a melt down! He wanted to stay for school himself! Ayden went right in and sat at the table and Austyn followed right behind him! When Dave picked Austyn up to go, he started crying and it was upsetting the other kids that were already unsure about all of it! We had to leave in a hurry, so I didn't get many pictures of Ayden actually at pre-school!haha And yes, Aydens face is ALL scratched up from his forehead all the way down to his chin! He had a scooter accident yesterday! Just our luck!HA!





As you can see...Austyn was really sad to loose his playmate for a couple of hours!!!

Austyn was at my grandpas Saturday morning with Dave when he fell off a scooter and landed on a stake with a nail head sticking out of it! It went through his cheek! Dave called me in a panic to come and get him asap. It scared him so bad. When it happened Dave thought it got his eye. Austyn hardly cried until he had to get the stitches. He is SO dang strong. All he was worried about is if he still got to go boating! He will have a little scar there, but it could have been so much worse, we are counting our blessings!!

Mean Dino

So...Ayden and Austyn have done nothing but fight all day today, just one of those days I guess! I was sick of listening to the fighting so I sat them down in their naughty chairs and let them both have it! After my vent, Ayden looks at me with the most serious face and said "Mom, when you get mad and yell, your just like a mean dinosaur...like a T-rex!!" Oh...the things that kids say! It made me laugh and lightned my mood, I love these little guys!
