Austyn's owie!
Austyn was at my grandpas Saturday morning with Dave when he fell off a scooter and landed on a stake with a nail head sticking out of it! It went through his cheek! Dave called me in a panic to come and get him asap. It scared him so bad. When it happened Dave thought it got his eye. Austyn hardly cried until he had to get the stitches. He is SO dang strong. All he was worried about is if he still got to go boating! He will have a little scar there, but it could have been so much worse, we are counting our blessings!!

That sounds so painful! Poor little guy - I'm glad it wasn't worse, too! Facial injuries freak me out!
Oh Man! Thank the Lord it didn't get his little eye! I commented on FB also, I think I would of had a stroke! It's so heart breaking when our little ones get hurt! So glad he's ok! He is SOOOOO CUTE!
Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry! Hey, I loved the mean dino story. I laughed out loud! Kids have such a better perspective then we do!!!
BTW that was me that just left that comment SORRY I forget to change accounts sometimes after my husband has been on the computer.
i can't believe i have made it this far in my kids life without stiches. one broken collar bone but no stiches. what do you expect from boys! they do look like they hurt. i have to say i'm way jeolous of your trip. looks like you had a blast! melissa
