Austyn's owie!

Austyn was at my grandpas Saturday morning with Dave when he fell off a scooter and landed on a stake with a nail head sticking out of it! It went through his cheek! Dave called me in a panic to come and get him asap. It scared him so bad. When it happened Dave thought it got his eye. Austyn hardly cried until he had to get the stitches. He is SO dang strong. All he was worried about is if he still got to go boating! He will have a little scar there, but it could have been so much worse, we are counting our blessings!!

Mean Dino

So...Ayden and Austyn have done nothing but fight all day today, just one of those days I guess! I was sick of listening to the fighting so I sat them down in their naughty chairs and let them both have it! After my vent, Ayden looks at me with the most serious face and said "Mom, when you get mad and yell, your just like a mean dinosaur...like a T-rex!!" Oh...the things that kids say! It made me laugh and lightned my mood, I love these little guys!

Happy Birthday Ayden!

I cant believe that Ayden is 4! He has grown up so much. He is the smartest little boy and he amazes me everyday! He is still into tractors, that seems to be his first love. He loves to act like a puppy, which is great until he does it a the grocery store! He loves the outdoors, he is AlWaYs asking if we can get some grass to play on and I just point him in his dads direction and say "Go tell your dad we need some grass" Maybe someday Ayden!haha He and Austyn get along great(for the most part) they are little buddies and partners in crime, I wouldn't have it any other way! Thanks for being the light of our lives Ayden, we LOVE you very much! Here are a few pictures from his pirate birthday party!This is the cake I made after many failed attempts to make a pirate ship cake! This is the best I could come up with!haha

Cancun

Well...we are back from paradise and it was WONDERFUL!! I didnt want to come home! I came home more relaxed an rejuvinated than ever. I am already looking to book our next trip to this resort again, it was amazing!! I am also trying to talk Dave into buying a condo there and living there 6 months out of the year!! Wouldnt that be great!! The people there were so nice and made you feel right at home! The food was amazing and being all inclusive, we had lobster 3 nights in a row!! Dave surprised me for my birthday and had them set up dinner on the beach. The palm trees were all lit up and they even had a heart out of lights in the sand! It was SO sweet and romantic. He ended the night with giving me a bracelet that I had wanted everytime we walked into the jewlery store at our hotel!! What a man, I love him so much!! We also went snorkeling next to an island, Isla Mujeres, and saw 2 baracuta(sp?)and lots and lots of beautiful fish. The next day we decided to go back over to Isla Mujeres for some shopping. It was HOT there, so we didnt last long. We spent most of our days on the beach or by the pools with a drink in our hand.haha By the end of the 7 days I was missing the boys pretty bad. My mom and dad kept them so busy that they didnt miss us one bit...actually, the night we got home Ayden cried because he didnt want to come home. That made us feel bad!haha I am so grateful for my mom and dad for taking the week off work so Dave and I could go and enjoy ourselves! Thanks again mom and dad, we appreciate it more than you will ever know! I hope you dont mind...but it will be a yearly thing now!haha
