Nothing to blog about!!

It is so sad when I have nothing at all to blog about! We have just been homebodies lately! Nothing exciting and hardly any contact with the outside world unless I HAVE to! I have been doing the occasional haircut and color, but still waiting for my salon to get done so I can get back to all that! I love the adult conversations with my clients!haha I thought I would list my new years resolution since I am already loosing motivation and January isn't even over yet! Maybe telling all of you what they are, it will hold me a little more accountable to keep them! So... first on the list, I am going to get healthy this year! I have been neglecting myself for a long time, and this year is the year that I am going to get selfish and focus on myself first! I am working out 3 mornings a week along with ballet and hip hop class, which I LOVE! It is so much fun! Just a few more things on my list are: the basement finished, stalk up on food storage, get our fence up, start the landscaping in the front yard, get the deck up out back, start our "pay the house off in 5 years" plan, get salon done so I can start working again, get Austyn potty trained, catch up on scrap booking, master my new camera and every manual setting, master photoshop, build Aydens bed, finish up all the little things around the house(touch-up paint ect.), tile back splash in master bathroom, get rid of all the junk in our basement, get organized, get the garage cleaned out so 2 cars actually fit...anyone want a way cute kitchen table or entertainment center??haha I better start there! That is WAY more than a years worth of work! This is just how my mind works though...it never really slows down! I drive Dave crazy, poor guy! Wish me luck, and good luck to everyone else and your new years resolutions!

Fun in the snow!!!

The boys beg EvErY day to go out in the snow and play! They absolutely love it, even when their hands are ice and their boogers freeze to their face. They never complain about the cold. Me on the other hand...I love the snow, but just from inside my cozy warm house!HA! We finally took the boys to the farm to pull them behind the 4-wheeler...or voom voom, as the boys call it. Its name is Chelsey by the way.hahaha Ayden named it after my best friend Chels....to funny hu? Never heard of a 4-wheeler named Chels! Anyway, here are some highlights of the day. I have a great video of me totally biffing it off the sled. Dave thought it would be funny...well it was. I had snow packed up all the way under my coat clear to my bra!brrrrr. I just don't know how to upload videos yet!

I didn't dare take my new camera, I had visions of me dropping it in the 2 feet of snow there, so these are just with my point and shoot! They are kinda bright!

Seriously spoiled!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!! I know we did, but I am also SO glad that it is over and behind us for another year! I have been wanting to tear down all my decorations today, but just can't bring myself to do it. It seems like I just put them up!! Santa seriously spoiled everyone of us!! We wanted a low key simple Christmas, and it turned out HuGe again!haha The boys got everything and more that they asked for. I swear next year it is going to be one toy a piece!!! That's all they need! Dave of course spoiled me rotten and gave me my dream camera! The boys favorite toy this year seems to be the remote control "voom-vooms"(4-Wheeler) that grandpa John gave them. And as predicted...they haven't played with the kitchen much! Dave told me they wouldn't "what little boys like play kitchens?"he said! Well,when they are over at my cousins house they play with theirs for hours...who knew!! sigh. We had everyone over Christmas morning. Lacy and Derick and mom and dad all came over for breakfast and also to spoil the boys more. Lacy gave them the cutest Elmo. It talks, tells jokes and interacts with the kids! I think I have played with him the more than they have, he is so cute! Mom and Dad totally surprised Dave and I with an amazing new barbecue grill!! Thanks everyone for all the wonderful gifts!! I still can't believe it is all over! Just now if I could get the mess cleaned up and find a place for all these toys!

I can't believe it is almost here! I still have so much to do and here I sit blogging!haha I am having a hard time getting out since it snowed so much yesterday! All moms out there know how hard it is dragging the kids in and out of the car in this slushy mess outside! I still haven't delivered most of my presents to friends and family! Oh well...It all seems to get done one way or another! I just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas!!!
