House is finally done!!

We have officially moved ALL of our stuff in our new house! yay! Even though we have been actually living here since June, I just couldn't seem to get organized and find a place for everything, and for those who know me, I have to have everything in its place! And I can be what my husband calls, very impatient. Even though we are happily enjoying our new place, my mind is always on the NEXT project. Yards, sidewalks, deck, fence, my salon and basement! Why can't I just settle down and relax for a minute?? My poor husband never hears the end of it. We worked so hard on this for almost 2 years, I guess we just need a minute to relax!lol So here it is!
Love our wood doors! Notice the cute vinyl wall lettering! Thanks Mindy! Guest bath Family room Kitchen...and I know, we have no fridge, I cant make up my mind! Who knew there were so makes and models. Its harder than picking out a new car! Our bedroom Our bathroom My side of the closet, Daves is too messy to show!haha Laundry room
Austyns room The boys bathroom. Tile work by Amy, and yes I did that myself! Well, Dave made the cuts! We put in a little tiny toilet for the boys! And this is Aydens room below. The guest room. Friends and family always welcome!

Ok....so I have had a few friends(Mind!haha) ask why my last post was in July!! Life has been so hectic and busy lately as all moms know. Not to mention how extremely hard it is to get high speed Internet correctly installed in a rural area!haha I have had to go to my mom and dads to use their Internet the last few months, and I just have had no time to blog! But no worries, we are officially connected, and it works(yay)!!

I always welcome fall. It seems like life slows down to a more manageable pace! Of course this time of year is obviously bow hunting season (all bow hunters wife's know how that goes!) Dave was SO excited because he drew a private land permit this year. He took a week off work so he could just stay up at the cabin and focus totally on the hunt. He went up on a Friday. Needless to say 1 week later he was getting SO frustrated, just couldn't get close enough to a buck. (traditional bow hunters understand) Well on his last day there(last Friday) He slept in, didn't get to sit in his blind that morning, frustrated to no end, he and my dad went looking for a trophy buck. They got just under the cabin when they saw 4 big bucks on the side of the road, Dave jumped out and flung one arrow and it went right in front of the deer, and to his surprise, the buck flipped around and just stood there, so he flung one more arrow and hit it dead on! Here is the proof! I was so excited for him!

We also held the annual Iron Springs out door bow shoot the first of August and Dave had taken first place in the leagues this year. Max Stewart, a local traditional legend, presented a gorgeous knife that was hand made by an amazing local knife artisan. I must say, Dave's a good shot, just ask my dad!haha Dave out shot him for the first time at the Colorado traditional shoot! Needless to say....my dads ego was a little bruised!

The 4th of July is by far my favorite family holiday. We always get together as a family for an all day bash!! This year it started with a great parade( the best its ever been) Then to mom and dads house for a little fun in the water and lunch. This year it turned into an all out water fight!! My mom got the worst of it!! For some reason Dave had it out for mom(mom, you shouldn't have squirted him first!!). She got full on tackled into the kiddie pool by Dave.....It was hilarious! Then off to the Jr. high lawn to watch the fireworks with the Searls, Halls, and our family. The boys got a kick out of the fighter jets and bomber plane flying over main street. It gives you chills up and down your whole body when they fly over your head. I also just learned why there is only 4 planes and not 5 to make a perfect v. One is missing for all the fallen soldiers that have paid the ultimate price for freedom...their life!! I never knew that! Thanks to all the service men and women who have and are fighting for our great red, white and blue!!!!!

This is what Dave does for revenge if you squirt him first!!! Sorry mom!haha

I love this picture. It was at dusk Kamryn, Austyn, Ayden and Ryann waiting for fireworks to start. They have all been best buddies this summer!!
Ayden with his great grandpa George who just celebrated his 80th birthday on June 30th!! Ayden has had a hard time getting the 3 finger thing down, so he just tells everyone that he is 4!
Patiently waiting for the fun part of the party.....presents!!!
He is SO into John Deer tractors its not even funny!! My mom and dad got him this pedal tractor, so he thinks that he can now help bampa john bail hay!!
A John Deer theme of course!!

My little man Ayden turned the big 3 on July 2nd. I can't believe that he has grown up so fast! He is so funny! He makes me laugh every day!! Here are some birthday pics of how spoiled he is! We had a small family party at our house that day. He recieved lots of great gifts. One of his favorites was his new fish from aunt Lacy, He named his fish 4 by the way!! Kids and their imagination! Isn't she the most BEAUTIFUL, classic bride that you have ever seen?? Her dress was simply amazing!!
Dave was such a trooper that night! He had to keep both the boys out of the very large koi pond.

Ayden and Austyn rode down the isle in a red wagon...and yes they were seat belted in and bribed with treats for the WHOLE ceremony!!! They did a great job!
